Dr. Amrit Venkatesh is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Virginia. Amrit received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Iowa State University where his research was recognized with the 2021 Zaffarano award. Subsequently, he conducted postdoctoral research funded by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. After his postdoc, he was appointed as a scientist at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Florida State University, before moving to UVA in 2025.
